We want you to have a great visit and have prepared
some information to help you to find
your way around and enjoy your visit to Los
Alamos. We hope you will consider coming for more
than just the game!

centers if you need assistance or more information.
The Tourist Information Center
in White Rock (WRTIC) and the Visitor Center in Los
Alamos are open seven days a week to help make
your visit to Los Alamos an enjoyable one. For

Los Alamos and White Rock offer an assortment of
hotels, inn, and bed & breakfast establishments that
would be pleased to serve you.

Dining
|
|
There are a variety of restaurants and cafes in White
Rock and Los Alamos. Many do not open on Sunday,
so call ahead or check with one of the Visitor
Centers
to be sure of hours. There are a wide variety of
options including Chinese, Japanese, Thai,
barbeque,
fine dining, pizza, New Mexican, diner, pub, and fast
food.

Take a short drive on the
Jemez Mountain Trail National
Scenic
Byway which will take you to
the Valles Caldera
National Preserve. The Preserve offers
some of the most breathtaking scenery in New
Mexico. Fall activities include hiking, fishing, hunting,

Bandelier
National Monument offers self-guided
activities, cultural demonstrations and guided walking
tours. Or, you can choose to hike and camp at
Bandelier. Call them at 505-672-3861 x517 for details.
Take in a movie at our 4-plex movie theater in town,
The
Real
Deal Theater.
Try not to leave Los Alamos without some time spent
at the local museums. The Bradbury
Science Museum and the Los
Alamos Historical Museum are free and are
open daily. PEEC
(Pajarito
Environmental Education Center), Los
Alamos's nature center, is free and open Tuesday
through Saturday.
